Yeah, so i use to think that my internet was having issues and i simply couldn't host, but the more i try to play on other connections the more i realize, no games are visible period. we are all using 3.6.12 official.... Some help? maybe a north american standalone we can use? Am I simply not able to host with AT&T Uverse?
ugh this truely has been a headache please help!!!

This might sound like a silly question but, you did step two in This thread (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=63609.0) right? In order for games to be visible, the host needs to have those ports forwarded. Alsomake sure all users are registered on fs2.net etc. or games won't be visible either. Multi is quite picky with hosting, but it's a lot of fun once you get it working.

Join us in MULTI (https://wbe003.mibbit.com/?settings=b73fe961ed217d9a3cbd9637dc7ba9bf&server=irc.esper.net%3A%2B6697&channel=%23Multi&noServerTab=false), see if we can help you out. The ability to host seems to be hit or miss, but its easier to debug when you can talk in realtime since there is no such thing as a debug log for why you can't see servers.
