People are still trying to compete with Rockband?  Color me impressed.

since rock band is dead, it's not that hard.

and the fact that rocksmith is for teaching guitar, not simulating it with 5 buttons.  iirc, the last thing rock band put out was a similar "teach guitar" kind of game, but it was still a controller, just with a button for every fret and string, and 6 fake strings instead of one bar.  i can't imagine that worked well.

this might just finally push me to buying an xbox, since i have a bass and need to learn how to play it.  i wonder if this will be released on the new nintendo platform though...

Tell you guys what, it's painfully accurate at detecting muted palms.
The adaptive difficulty is genius, and the "Guitarcade" is a work of art at getting me to master things like slides and hammer-ons.

I'm already noticing increased chord change speeds in myself. It's main bad point at this time, ....................

I can't put the thing down

i saw an advert for it awhile back, but im not really into that kinda thing.

i think im pretty good with slides and bends. not so good with hammer-ons, my tremelo picking still sucks and i couldn't pick sweep if my life depended on it. as a result i gave up on trying to play metal and started playing the blues instead. i still suck in general.

Get me a pianosmith game and I'm down

Despite all that, it's still pretty damned cool that Ubisoft came out with a real guitar game and not some controller based thing
