Looks very interesting. Nice to see a trailer for another space game that doesn't take itself incredibly seriously. The construction system looks like a bit of a slog, though.

Looks interesting indeed. Perhaps you can upgrade your tools to speed up construction. Otherwise building the colossus will be a pain in the ass  ^^

Isn't that pretty much a given for every building game ever invented. Especially Spore comes into my mind...
And when one looks at that video you posted, from 0:13 onward for example, seems like they already did build three of them and made them collide.

Back to the actual topic. This looks good. I can really see the fun potential in this one.

I think that's a reference to "every new ship looks like a giant penis" which is a phase we went through some years ago.

An example (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=18868.msg366255#msg366255) on how HLP modding used to be hilarious.

I'm following this one carefully, especially since I'm building a gaming computer this month. It's from the Miner Wars team though, so I'm somewhat skeptical.

Looking around the web i found this little game, i think nobody post it and looks funny and curious.

http://www.spaceengineersgame.com/ (http://www.spaceengineersgame.com/)

Space Engineers is a sandbox game about engineering, construction and maintenance of space works. Players build space ships and space stations of various sizes and utilization (civil and military), pilot ships and perform asteroid mining.

Space Engineers utilizes a realistic volumetric-based physics engine: all objects can be assembled, disassembled, damaged and destroyed.

I've already got my must-build list. And I've started on that with this little beauty as a tribute to Inferno. BEHOLD, ladies and gentlemen! A loose recreation on the EAF Claymore MK I from INFR1!

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=229718362
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=229718483
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=229718747
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=229718794

It's not perfect. Oddly portioned, some 'bits' missing or in odd places, etc etc. But given what is currently possible in the engine and how difficult that model actually is to recreate completely, I'd say I did alright on this one. Was a beauty to try flying too. The problem with this interpretation, as I would sadly find out, was the missile pods -- firing the missiles blew the entire ship up!

Enjoy ;)

Oh I approve engineering, all right! ;) Engineering the old classics that have graced freespace for a decade and a half. I should've started off on an easier model like the Hercules or Medusa, but oh well. Claymore gets it first for soooooooo many reasons.

I built the GTF Ulysses
I then proceeded to fly it
It doesn't handle nearly as well as the Freespace counterpart, but damn can that thing roll (many gyros, so fun)

Multiplayer is fun as all hell though.

I'll see what I can do. It's a Mk. 1 so it's for starters, blocky as hell and resembles vaguely the Ulysses

Ok, so I mistakenly posted something about SE in another thread, but since everyone here's already familiar with the game, here's the gist of what I said:

I've got a Steam group up for more FS, FS2, and user-made FSOpen campaign ships.  Link here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/h-r_corp

Anyone interested?  HLP members get priority on officer and moderator positions.  Oh, and admins/"Of The Year" award winners get overall first dibs.  Group's public until there's a significant number of people.

Oh, and I found some really nice ships:

GTD Galatea (ugly colors, but it's the most faithful recreation of an Orion of the 2 that I saw)
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=197626507

GTF Atalanta
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=215916853

GTC Fenris (the Orff?) and an Apollo wing (absolutely fantastic! Best FS recreation on the Workshop, IMHO)
