Title: How to activate Radar Symbols in Fsport and Normal FS 2 Campaign

I've downloaded the Radar Icons add on from the Installer with the Media_VP's 2014, but there is now change in the way the Radar is shown, only normal dots. What am I missing?.

Are you selecting the MediaVPs as a mod? You need to do that to enable the enhancements. (If the FreeSpace SCP logo appears before the opening cutscene, you've probably done it correctly.)

Also, keep in mind that the current version of the FreeSpace Port is not compatiple with the 2014 MediaVPs, so you need to either install the 3.6.12 MediaVPs as well or install this unofficial patch (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=86514.0).

Well, yes I have the advanced graphics, I also have the Patch for the media_VP's and no other Problems. I Just don't know how to activate the Icons. Ah maybe its because of the Cockpit Mod? But without it - in the main FS Campaign its the same Problen.

Please post your fs2_open.log file.  Instructions on how to do this can be found in this post. (Do this with the MediaVP mod activated.)

The default is just small/big dots.  The radar icons pack should change the dots to be small representations of the ship class, similar to the briefing map icons.

Oh. The icons for MediaVPs 3.6.12. Yeah, I didn't like that, so I renamed MV_RadarIcons.vp in order to get rid of it without getting rid of it. It just caused the radar to get too cluttered and busy at times.
