Title: Weapons gauge graphics overlapping
Post by: Yarn on January 03, 2016, 01:20:15 am
The attached image shows what BP's weapons gauge currently looks like, at least for me. As you can probably tell, the gauge's graphics aren't properly aligned. This happens because bpc-visuals1.vp contains taller versions of the weapons gauge graphics and the HUD table does not take this into account. The best solution to this is probably to just remove those altered graphics.

In case it helps, I noticed this in the first real mission of War in Heaven 1.

They look like the graphics from the old abp2-hud-font-fix.vp file, but without the corresponding hud table changes.

Is there any chance of this being fixed?

Most def, but I dunno if anyone's in a position to test and push a patch right now. I'm super overdue on my next book.

All you really need to do is remove the weapons*.ani files from bpc-visuals1.ani\data\hud. As long as nothing in BP expects taller weapons gauge graphics (which the HUD table certainly doesn't), there shouldn't be any problems.

An update has been pushed to the installer and FTP that fixes this.
