It is a pleasure to meet all of you and I look forward to serving with you. It has been a long time since I've touched free space or freespace 2 but I'm proud to say that I have returned. With the latest installment of descent Underground on the way p I have become interested in free space series Once More and I have noticed that the modding Community has vastly expanded. I have done some research and I have seen that there are a lot of new campaigns and a lot of new graphic updates for the game freespace 2. I was wondering if there would be a way to point me to the most graphically beautiful version of free space. I am by no means a modder so if there is an instructional set on how to install these mods I would greatly appreciate it. Lastly I am looking for a few campaigns that are in depth and highly rated. I look forward 2 booting back up.

Run the FSO Installer, use the launcher it installs to select the 2014 MediaVPs as a mod, bam, you're in business!
I'm gonna self-toot (selfttuta here) and point out that Blue Planet is big, largely voice acted, fun, and comes with a tuned up version of the FreeSpace 2 campaign. But there are tons of other great mods (The Antagonist is a blast, Wings of Dawn is a visual novel + freespace) and you should check the pinned thread in Missions and Campaigns for suggestions.
