Got to the end boss.
Amazing, the dev managed to make every Metroid encounter feel different! Some dodge more, others jump more often than they charge, and the added miniboses are fun. Lots of references to Metroid Fusion (obviously) and bonus areas. Fighting the first Omega Metroid is amazing, it just gives this "oh ****" vibe from seeing the Federation Marines get slaughtered when it grows from a Zeta.
A lot of love and work went into this one. The music is great as well, seeing as the original had almost none (being a GB game). The fact they added an escape sequence
when Metroid 2 was the only game not to have it made me laugh so hard.
