Title: Screencap Contest - August 2018

For August, let's have a free month! Anything you like! A mod you're working on, some scene you've got in your head, a shot from your favorite campaign that you are no doubt replaying right now. Make it great!
The rules are:
1: No HUD! (Jump nodes ok though!) 2: Images must be presented as they would be as seen with only the FSO engine rendering the image. So that means no after the fact photoshopping (except for cropping), and no external shader programs (reshade and the like). 3: Max 3 entries per person!

Which one served as inspiration for this shot? Midnight on the Firing Line or Thridspace?

I think Signs and Portents but can't be sure. Pic was done 2 months ago.

Wow wow, did August go by so fast? Guess so...
Well, August's Screencap theme was a free month, but it was certainly not a free win. As usual there are so many great pics its hard to choose just one. But I have to make a choice and the winner this month is... BTA's dark and forboding Vasudan fleet pic. I'm a sucker for good backgrounds and nice lighting.
