I always make a new pilot for every new mod (and only ever use that one for said mod), though I usually clone it from some existing one, so all the hotkeys transfer. So what's up with funny things happening anyway? Yesterday there was an update for BP Complete. Seems like it maybe changed the hotkeys of my WCS pilot. Today I clone my WCS pilot to be used with Trimurti, and notice that the WCS pilot has now the BP pilot hotkeys. However, IIRC, the WCS pilot was cloned from the WoD pilot. It's not a big deal but is noticeable. How can hotkeys transfer so randomly? Does cloning pilots carry something additional along? Also, updates seem to screw up FSO mod settings on Knossos occasionally (some particular settings change or something).
