Hello all.  I had an idea today.  I'm sure people have suggested this before, but my idea is slightly different.  A website dedicated to non-FS universe FS models.  I know there are all sorts of interesting models ripped from various games and such, so if any wants me to, I'd gladdley put them all together.  If no one is, just send me the models anyway for my use. (let the truth be known, I'd really just like to play with them, but I might as well make the offer to make them accesable)  Anything goes, from Starlancer, Tachyon, etc.  Just so long as they are not being stolen from a conversion like TBP or WC:TC.  But, they're welcome to submit any if they want.  Is this a good idea or a bad one.  let me know.

Only if they want to give them up.  I'm basically looking for the homeless models, ones that don't have projects attached, or are leftovers from failed projects.  I'm not going to go out of my way, I just thought it would be a nice thing to offer.

wait what do they even have? An X-wing and... maybe one of those star destroyers ive never heard about.

As for "hoarding" models in general, yes I beleave thats his general plan. Clever plan... maybe the amoeba's would have failed to see through it... but then again, they were never good modellers.

We have - An X Wing, TIE Fighter, TIE Defender, TIE Interceptor, Imperial Probe Droid, all of which are finished, and in production I believe we have an Eclipse Class Star Destroyer, A Y Wing, A Z-95, an ISD, an A Wing, and possibly more that I've just forgotten. We also have all the SW backgrounds, and a whole sheedload of other stuff.

As for "hoarding" models in general, yes I beleave thats his general plan. Clever plan... maybe the amoeba's would have failed to see through it... but then again, they were never good modellers.

17.5 kms . It won't have all it's turrets though - the FS Subobject limit is somewhat below 1238 unfortunately.

Yes, its true, I want all models, so I can have fun with them.  Isn't that why they exist?  But I'm also willing to share, so ALL can have a hoard of models.  And I never said I wanted just sw, I'd like everything.

Well, with KARMAs wishlist being as long as it is, it could be a long time coming unfortunately . But, I can personally guarantee it will be worth the wait.

I would recommend we come out with kits, with models, textures, and a text file with the table entries. For instance: a Rebel Fighter pack would include the X-Wing, Y-Wings, E-Wing etc., Imperial fighter pack has all the TIEs, a Star Destroyer kit, a Mon Cal kit, etc. That way the community could partake of our bounty one piece at a time, missions would require certain kits, there would be continuity within a kit (all TIEs would share some of the same textures), and so on.

I like doing Star Destroyers; can I have that pack to myself? Pleeeeze?

So no, at this point it doesn't look like we'll have a sovereign. But you'll also note that the Eclipse wasn't on their either, so really, anything can happen.
