is there a limit to how many ships can go into the ships table file?
I have added 2. the table file is only 263K as i removed the spare whitespace and comments. they mess up which ships get shown in the tech room though.

Yes i believe for FS 2 its 117? somewhere up there and max tbls is 360kb

Don't remove all the spaces, you'll screw up your files.

Do a search/replace of four spaces and replace with one space.

You can't really replace the tab/indentions, it takes about the same amount of space for the most part.

And it's 380k and 120 ships or so.  I've got 12 new ships in there with every one of the standard ships too.
