Ok, I'm having some trouble setting my screen so as to make it a perfect rectangle. I'm not bothered with the verticle and horizontal positioning. I can change those later. What annoys me are the V.Pincushion, Side Pin.Bal. , Trapezoid and Parallelogram controls. I just can't get them right and the more I try the worse it gets. So if anyone else has those controls (I know it varies from one monitor to another) could they detail their settings so I can try them out. Don't know if this makes a difference but my preffered resolution is 1152*864.

Thanks in advance.

normally setting the trapezoid controls etc at 50% creates a rectangle, ie neither a posotive or negative trapezoid (insert proper words there).
What sort of screen is it?  Model? Such as mine, a Phillips 150S 17 inch flatscreen... then people might be able to help better.

Try resetting it to the default settings, then tweak it.

I never bothered changing those on mine, but it usually differs from monitor to monitor, even between those of the same size/type. GE's suggestion seems to be the best option.

GE's suggestions sounds good. But there's no reset to default. Anyway, no matter. It's more or less ok now.
