Die Another Day was a pretty weird Bond movie.

Pierce didn't do as a good job playing Bond as he did with the other movies.

Bond even smoked in the movie. I thought he quit.  :blah:
I finally destoryed the Shivan armada and all I got was this lousy T shirt.

I don't think so. James Bond has always been smoking since Dr No.

He wasn't smoking in GoldenEye and Tomarrow Never Dies.

There was a scene in Tomarrow never dies where Bond offers a light, punches the guy, and says 'Filthy habbit'.

I wouldn't really matter if Brosnan smoked or not, they'ld just give him herbal cigerttes to smoke on stage (which I believe if what the Cigerette smoking man acually smoked in the X-File, since the actor didn't smoke).

In all of Flemmings novels, Bond did indeed smoke. But once it became apparent that smoking wasn't exactly great for your health, they stopped in smoking in the films as it 'glamorised' smoking.

Die Another Day was good, but not the best.  Was it just me or did the writers really lay the innuendeaus (sp?) thick?  And the tidal Wave parachute thing was SO FAKE!!!  Fortunately they didn't use CG in every sequeance, or it'd suffer from AOTC disease, AKA  BCG.  But aside from that it was quite exceptional.  I personaly like how it strayed from the formula just a little, giving the begining a dark tone.

I don't like Halle Berry either.  Bad actress!

And frankly, yellow card for the Halle Berry comment
