First model - a jet engine

Not a normal HLP sort of model, but i wanna get your impressions on it.  I'm working on something new, should be up soon.

Pretty good, beatspete.

My main criticism is that the segmentation of the main engine cylinder is very clear. You'll want to up the resolution a bunch.

Yeah, that was before i noticed you can configure it to give you better mesh quality in the options...


The fans were trial and error really. Made a profile curve for them in the shape of an aerofoil, then made a helix curve and a straight curve, then did a rail sweep along these two curves which gives the curvature in the blades... i had the sense to use an array to make all 45 (i think) of them, thank god.
