Yea, verily, for some reason my Faustus won't show up in my escort list. Every other ship in the mission is okay, and the Faustus was set to have the second highest escort prority. I even unchecked the escort box on the other ships, but it just plain won't show up. I double checked the mission in Wordpad, and all the flags seem to be present and correct - suggestions?

try just rebuilding the ship in FRED.. i can't think of any reason why it wouldn't show up.

High numbers don't normally mess up the game. Can't think what could be doing this though. Might it be something to do with the name? If the name is long maybe it doesn't want to go in the escort box. Just a thought.

in that case it should be abbreviated... so that cant be it.

Is the ship flaged as unknown or is it invisible to radar?  I can't think of anything either, but either of those two things might bug out the escort list since it would be an unusual combination.

No, nothing unusual going on. The ship name is 12 characters, and the priority is set to 40. No unusual flags or anything.


[EDIT] Fixed it. Oh deary, deary me, this is embarresing. Seems I put the departure SEXP in the Arrival box by mistake, so the ship wasn't even in the mission... yea, verily, everyone point at me and laugh
