WCS: Battlegroup Serpent Teaser released!
It is a while ago that we have announced the first teaser. Well, now it is here! It clocks in at just 20 megs. As a result, divx 5.02 is required. You can download it here (http://serpent.ufosnetwork.com/temp/wcs_trailer01.zip). Happy downloading!

*Note: the scene announced before (that with the Kilrathi Dreadnaught) wasn't completed fully due to several problems with Lars computer, who offered to use his kick-ass system to render any particularly CPU heavy scenes that I have. Nethertheless it is included.

Here is also the full credit:

Hellcat V.......................................Alan Hart
Dralthi MK2....................................Alan Hart
Kilrathi Dreadnaught.........................Zohrath
Hoth............................................Dan North
Jump Gate.....................................Zohrath

Tolwyn’s reputation for risk taking with other people’s lives was considered  to understate the facts. The admiral’s willingness to sacrifice anyone or anything to achieve his objectives had long been lauded in the popular press. He was “the man who got things done”.- Colonel Blair

No errors, no random CTDs, just pure fun and proof of why getting hit with missiles is a bad thing.

Snazzy!

But there are several spots where the pacing drags. You could probably cut a good 30 seconds out and have it be just as engaging, if not more so.

And the music seems awfully mellow for a game about blowing **** up. :D

Very cool.

Who was the guy that voiced "This is the Deliverance.  We are about six clicks from the Gamma Draconis node"?  He sounds exactly like Snipes!

Arg.  Had my hopes up there for a moment. ;) Thought we had a budding Snipes impersonator in our midst (67th GW is AWOL).
