:wtf:   Surely this is contradictory... or did someone fail to convey his meaning properly... or am I reading it wrong...

Does anyone know which is actually correct - can a species have two or four flyby sounds?

lol, it looks like you are right. The game is currently set up to use two for each species as stated in the second line, so I would think that the other comment is wrong or something.
