Vasudan & Terran Cooperation
It seems to be my day for questions...

So here is another one.

1) Is SOC a Terran only organisation? I don't recall any Vasudan craft in the SOC missions.

2) if so do we know who the Vasudan equivalent is?

And I’ve heard Vasudan Tactical Command mentioned, are the different to Allied Command? I’m assuming allied command is represented by the #Command messages in the FS2 main campaign, but he seems to order about both Terran and Vasudan ships.

(well ok its three, never could count)

Vasudan & Terran Cooperation
SOC is indeed probably Terran only. Vasudan Tactical Command (VTC) is actually a branch of the GTVI if I remember correctly, so it might be the Vasudan counterpart of the SOC.

SOC is part of GTVI, and would thus be a joint organisation. Though admittedly, the only 99th Skulls pilots we saw were human...

*shrugs*  If you're asking this for the purpose of misison making,
you may as well go ahead and BS it a bit. It's resonable to imagine that the Vasudans wouldn't want the Terrans doing all the special ops stuff by themselves...

Vasudan Tactical Command runs the Vasudan fleets. Terran Command (or whatever it's called) runs the Terran fleets. Allied Command runs the whole show - the Command Guy works for Allied Command (even though he's speaking from Terran 3rd Fleet HQ in the "Dunkerque" mission...).

You know, it always bothered me slightly that pilots call the Command Guy 'sir'... you'd have thought that a junior officer would have actually been working the comms system at Command HQ, with the assorted Big Bosses™ telling him or her what to say to the pilots... oh well :)

Well, there was really never any mention of Terran Command in the FS2 campaign at all; they always talked about Allied Command, which leads me to believe that it might have been dissolved along with the GTA.

Vasudan & Terran Cooperation
I'd like to say SOC is as joint op, but I don't think most people would agree, at least in the campaigns going on.

To explain the skulls, I'd say it was a terran Squadron within SOC. They probably have some terran squadrons, Vasudan squadrons and Mixed squadrons.
