Looks pretty cool, but I get the impression that there's a lot of good detail there which we miss out on because the beam is over-exposed. Fine if you want it like that, though.

Intentional.  I wanted them a bit more violet, but I'm not arguing with the end result.

I really have a thing about ships that are basically a primitive with tons and tons of greebles on it, but other than that...

I don't know Shrike. Model is quite cool, I like it. Beams eeeeh...the color is a bit disturbing. :nervous: :shaking: Change that. Stars could use some work though because it looks as though as you made them in paint or something. Make them a bit smaller.

EDIT: It seems that the beams are fired from the laser turrets and the upper two beams somehow merge with each other. Perhaps you should find a better turret to fire them from. :)

The beams merging is solely a trick of viewpoint.  And it only has two beam turrets.  All the rest are little pulse turrets, or missile bays.

As mentioned, background needs improvement. And do beams really have shaddows?  Put some purple reflection/illumination on the ship and it should look good.
