Hi HLP-Freespace-community !

I discoverd FS1 again a weak ago after having completed the campaign two times 3 years ago.
It still rocks, even compared with todays standarts!

Can't wait to play FS2 also as soon i finish FS1 and Silent threat (which I didn't play before).

But now to my request:

I completed FS2 already once when I bought it some 1-2 years ago and enjoyed it (nearly) as much as FS1.

I say nearly, because I have the UK-release of FS1 and the geman localised version of FS2.

The point is, that the german speech in FS2 is not as immersive as the (english) one in FS1.
Now due to  Descent Manager it should be easy to replace the speech-files  with the english ones---so is there a possiblilty to download them?
I fear that the speech would be too much bytes for anyone to host it, but maybe someone could send it to me (please)?
Maybe someone from germany? I would of course compensate for material and shipping.

Again: I'm not interested in a rawcopy of FS2, but just in the speech-files (maybe the videofiles also;7 ). I guess this is pretty legal, since I own a copy by myself.

I know this is a quite unusal request, but it would help me enjoy this game even more.

(And yes, I looked at ebay already-just localised versions; and I don't have  a credit card so international ebay is also a nogo.)

perhaps you can try kazaa, but i doubt you'll find it.

i've got the files, but no way to put themup, unless stealth would want to up my account to 250MB.

i live in holland but i don't know what over-the-border postage would cost.

Kazaa or emule don't have the files.  
Are you using Kazaa ? (I would not suggest emule since I have a LowID).
In this case you could zip it into a specific file and I could get it this way. Only if you have a broadband-internet-access and don't have to pay for online-minutes, of course.

Otherwise I will inform myself about shipping costs and send you a small bag with the corressponding money and a cd-r.

What do you suggest ?

And I can't search by username...

I use Kazaa Lite, but I don't think this has anything to do with it...

Guess you're just offline at the moment.

Another possibility:
Do you know on which of the 3CDs the audiofiles are stored ?
There are iso-files on emule of the 3 CDs; if I know which one I need, I could download it and take it from the file.
Could take a while with my LowID, but I could manage one 700MB-file.

Anyway, I will try Kazaa again.

i haven't got a clue one which CD the audiofiles are, since my version didn't come on cd.

sorry but i can't help you with this. i know that there are speech files somewhere outthere. But i have to warn you not to speak to mutch about filesharing. since you two are only speaking about the frespace files i'll let this thread stay open.

But please do not speak about warez and other illegal stuff around these boards

I know this is a sensitive matter;
as you said I wouldn't do it if it wouldn't be about legal content (AFAIK).
