i got my hands on the demo of the game and i must admit i was kinda daunted by the long dark history of all star trek games (most of the being crap bar a few examples) i gave it a go and i must say.. it's actually quite cool...and the new weapons give it a whole new look.. take the federation assault rifle... don't let the name fool you... it's actually a federation shotgun;)  and it kicks arse...

The first Elite Force 0wned. I think it was the first FPS (and only FPS) I've ever played online. I still play from time to time, but I generally stopped around the release of the X pack.

As for EF 2, I'll try it out. Maybe as a birthday present :thepimp:

The demo was decent. I'm definitely getting this, though.
