I feel stupid for asking but... how do you change res in the CD rip (internet download) version of Freespace 2?

the cd-rip version doesn't have the 'sparky_hi.vp' file (i think that's what it's called) with it...

anywho. the high-res textures(needed for 1024 x 768) arn't available in the cd-rip, probably 'cause it's around what? 200 mb?

Just looked and no it isn't there.
However one more option exists. I have FS2 installed on another computer. Could I just copy the files onto 2 cd's?

If you ask on the HOTU forum, they have (or had, at least) the Sparky file uploaded, along with sound.

Yep. You can just copy them from one HD to another. In fact you'd probably be better off just copying the whole thing over if you want to have voice acting.
