hotel boredom ships...
Four more ships converted during my reserve exile... The first is the Narn Beam cruiser.

A scavenged ship from Lar's model Dump (Bismark Battleship) tweaked to be an alien/terran Juggernaught/carrier

In a few hours I pack up and check out of Days inn, do my lst reserve duty day , and hopefully get home and reconnected before 7pm (hopefully!!!) L8tr!

[edit] I almost forgot! a ST crossover the GTC  Shinobi  class (as in shadow warrior), a defiant'esq terran cruiser with cloaking capability and unusual hull design to obstruct space sensors. The GTVA's first stealth CRUISER!

The first ship appears to be an A-wing-Thoth mixture ship. Their shape are good.

I've been working on a handful of mods (barely started, mostly gathering/converting models).

     I too have been working on a ST TC for FS2 (plus the big cross-over all campaigns). If you are a modler (sorry forgot cause I've been BUSY and you are still new to me), I would GLADLY hand over to you anything ST related I have (including voices/music) ect.... Though if you have a BETTER connection than me I would rather pointthe sites I got them from to you to DL directly from.

Little Ludi made a Huge number of models, but I wanted it to be in scale with the fighters so I hade to edit teh pofs to cobs and resize them from 200-400% bigger)... This means any turrenting data was lost. I am a noob when it comes to models and only can do what I do if someone had mapped a model to take textures in the first place (I use 3dexploration to change model formats and textures), I only us TrueSpace to add a light and orient it. Other than that I can make a cube by hitting the cube button (better to end my modling career at that point!) :nod:

   I also made the following torpedos, Photon, Quantom, transphasic, and tri-cobolt (needs to be redone)...

Was going to try to learn beams and make unique borg beams and Assimilation beam ( I gots ideas and weapon models to work with.   Asf or textures I got probably a few thousand ST ones. I tried SO hard to convert models before I found little ludi's ones at Freespace2sector that my map folder is cluttttered with them, as well as falied models that ned to be subobjected ect... BTW NONE of them have turrents!!! they came from other games that have different data (no visible/texturable model)... So for real turrents they will ahve to be added to the models (not my area)... L8tr

As for the otehr models I work on (I got dozens) they are sitting on my hard drive cause unlike my photo site to display them, I have no where to host the files. Besides these are "Eye candy" I have yet to go to each one and add subs,weaps, shields (if allowed),thrusters,ect...) It ws just enough for me to get themin game and stable enough to blow up and have fun with... If people got interested great, they can show me how to finish them off, or better yet take them from me, finish them, and make them available for EVERYONE!

I suggested a LONG time ago a system for hosting files for/by modlers... The sections would be broken down as follows (Spaceship parts - assemble your own like a mr. patato head! I take this nose this hull these wings, these engine blocks and presto, combination 345 off the assembly line!) :lol:   Another would be for converted pofs that need work, the next one would be FINISHED pofs (all subs, turrents, shields, thrusters, ect), and finally tables for new weapons, and ships. Ops I forgot new Hud icons, weapon Icons, Briefing Icons, ect... You get the idea. If we could get one clearing house for all these files it would be easier for people to find them (outside of a campaign, I am talking strickly about INDIVIDUAL creations, OR pre-releases, Demos should be at their own campaign sites or linked to HLP)... Like the Bismark needs to be subobjected, it placed in fred but shards of death made me use a render instead of a screenshot, but it looks neat anyway! L8tr!!!
