some of you may have notised that I havn't been doing any work latly, well this is simply becase I havn't been able to do any work, not senece I got my new computer, at first I thought is was msvc, but I now think iw is CVS and I'm wondering why it isn't working, when I log in and try to cheak out the current build, I get this;

and when I have it update what I have, it doesn't seem to be updateing the files, so in short what the hell is going on!?!

or maybe CVS is working, I just renamed the code directory and got it to checkout, now the problem is that I'm getting a first chance exeption when strstr() is used
might this becase thisis in the intel folder and I'm useing and AMD chip? I wouldn't think so becase there both suposed to run the same

oh, it's trying to read the new registry string, duh, and I havn't run the new launcher, ngrrr

um, I think so, glowmapping isn't working but it looks like it was just the DX level code that was afected, the new launcher won't let me use anything but 640X480, even if I change the entry by hand it doesn't change

Ahh... I had to switch to Phreak's build, cuz the official unofficial relase did something funny, and whenever I try to use it, it says "FS2.exe has generated a fatal error and will be closed. An error log is being created." Or something like that.:blah: (I renamed my files, so that the original FS2 launcher can load it too.)

Do you get problems with DX? Both 5 and 8 refuse to work, so I'm stuck in OpenGL.

no, the DX code still seems to work, it's just missing theten or so lines of code that implement the glow mapping, I am now having the problem of MSVC not wanting to generate a relese build :mad:
