Anyone else think it odd that apparently all non-Shadow/Vorlon First Ones do is scoot around the galaxy in Big Ships With Big Guns? And only one ship per race, please!

All of the First Ones (minus the Shadows/Vorlons) supposedly left this galaxy thousands of years before, only a few stayed.
As for the big ships with big guns, well.. what do you think a few thousand years of R&D would come up with?
