My first showable (besides my first PoS I showed in the TVWP Internal) "render". It isn't really a render, because all I used was Modelview and PSP8. I spent around an hour on it, and the only thing I don't like are the thrusters out of the Valkyrie on the top of the image. Here it is, comments, flammage (as usual, please keep the latter to a minumum; I would like constructive criticism instead:))

waaayy too much engine glow. Despite that, there is't much going on. Get rid of the funky engine glows, replace cool backgroudns and you are cooking.

Ohh yeah, the internal pic... not bad, but not a real render either...

I kinda like the engines on this one... but a bit too bright, and the glows go on forever, it seems.

Keep trying. You'll get it right. (I still haven't but that's besides the point, idinit)

Hey - I kinda like those thrusters. Sure, they're not Freespacey, but they do have their own appeal to them. Of course, if you want to go for pure FS, you'd better ditch them and try and pull something out from the VPs.

Actually, I was going for more of a Freelancer look when I did the thrusters.

try to blur the Valk's thrusters a little at the edges so it appears the glow is enveloping the thrusters slightly:nod:
