Maybe it would be better if you found "real-life" star names and used those instead. I never really cared for made-up star names (Vasuda being an obvious exception). 
There may be no individual star called 'Draconis', but there is always the Draco system, made up of Thuban, Rastaban, Eltanin, Nodus Secundus and Giausar (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Lambda Draconis, respectively). As for the Ross system, I'd say that was a military designation, not a named system.

As a side note, I think someone mentioned that the system was 'Naos', which would be Zeta Puppis.
