I preferred the first one to be honest, the second one is more 'eye candy movie' type music, which isn't a bad thing. My one suggestion for the second piece would be to take out that 'twang!!!' guitar sample, or at least some of them, they started getting on my nerves near the end

They're both okay. The first one kind of fits in with Freespace's overall tone and 'feeling'.
