I noticed this entry in the FS1 tables, what's it used for exactly?? I don't remember anything about a Vasudan Super Laser during my first play of the game.

Unless it was some weapon destined for the HoL ranks which didn't see the final cut of the game, but was left in the weapons.tbl regardless.

The Flux canon is the Vasudan version of the Fusion Mortar IIRC. You try guessing what's up with the name..

I was going to say its not on any of the Vasudan ships, but after looking at the ships.tbl it would seem that the Typhon is supposed to have two of the weapons en lieu of fighter killer banks.

Name is still a little whack of course.
