Warcraft III: Bloodwar
Since the other WC thread I made, which was cluttered anyway, has been engulfed in other threads I decided to make another one.

Here is the full intro to my campaign:

---WARNING: Contains spoilers for The Frozen Throne expansion pack!---[/color]

Warcraft III: Bloodwar

2 Weeks after Arthas freed the Lich King and merged with him...

Now that the Lich King was back stronger then ever due to the merger with the undead Price Arthas, he strengthened the Undead with his magical powers. With this newfound power the Scourge was ready to once again march against the living.

The advance of the Undead was swift. The Lich King began his conquest in Kalimdor, where he and his Legion quickly marched through the Ashenvale Forest and easily took over Northern Kalimdor.

2 months later

Further to the south, in Central Kalimdor lay the Barrens. There Thrall and the Hoard was preparing for the coming storm. At first it seemed the Orcs actually stood a fighting chance but soon that proved only to be an illusion.

As the Orcs were slowly turned to the undead Thrall saw no other option to save his fellow Orcs then to leave Kalimdor and sail back to the lands of his former enslavers, Azeroth. This however, left Kalimdor practically void of anyforces capable of even slightly opposing the Undead Legion and Kalimdor soon fell to the Undead.

In Azeroth

The Humans, Elves and Dwarves were fighting what they thought to be the remnants of the Undead Legion. In time grass grew green again, and trees once again took root. But as soon as Thrall arrived in Azeroth and brought the terrifying news, the Humans once again prepared for war. But they knew that the only way that they would be able to oppose the Undead Legion was to form an alliance between Orcs, Dwarves, Humans and Elves. The Dwarves were already allied with the Humans and both allowed Thrall and any other Orc clan to join. But the Elves were opposed to that and didn't want an alliance with what they called "brainless warmongerers". But in the face of Death itself they reluctantly joined the new Alliance.

1 week later

At a meeting of all the leaders of the Alliance an unexpected guest arrived. It was the Demon Lord Kil'Jaeden...

If I were you, I'd stick closer to the canon, because it'd still allow for a good conflict.

I'd split it into three segments occuring a little after the Orc bonus campaign in TFT:

1) The Gnomes and Dwarves of Khaz-Modan mounting a counterattack on the "nameless terror" that destroyed the Gnome capital. (probably the Forgotten Ones) Tie this in with their refusing to help the Forsaken with the Lich King.

2) The Forsaken under Queen Sylvannas mounting a campaign against Kel-Thuzad and the Cult of the Damned in Lorderon (driving him underground in the end) and then allying with the horde in the end. (the Alliance already refused)

3) The Centaur hordes from Desolace attack Ashenvale. An Orc shaman who is trying to find a cure for the Forsaken's undeath is blamed for upsetting the fragile balance in the region and leads to a zealous Priestess of the Moon attacking Durotar until the forces of Theramore moves in to stop it. (and also helps hunts down the Shaman who becomes corrupt in trying to find the cure)

Anyway if you have the WarCraft RPG book, it has tons of places where battles could occur.

I'm sorry, but to me what you wrote up is not quite what I'm looking for. Besides its just an intro, the campaign itself will have enough ties to the canon WC story :)

well, actually, just stopped for today. I'm in the middle of mission02 of the undeads, and I never liked the undeads ( maybe coz they kick my ass a lot at warhammer :p ), so it's going slowly.

Ok, I decided to change the story as it wasn't really going along with the canon WC timneline. Now, it will still need some tweaks but this is pretty much it. I am also dividing the campaign in acts. This way people won't have to wait as long and I hope to create a bit more epic campaign :)

Warcraft III: Bloodwar Act 1

2 Weeks after Arthas freed the Lich King and merged with him...

Now that the Lich King was back stronger then ever due to the merger with the undead Price Arthas, he strengthened the Undead with his magical powers. With this newfound power the Scourge was ready to once again march against the living.

The advance of the Undead was swift. The Lich King began his conquest in Azeroth, where he and his Legion quickly built up there forces in the already occupied lands of Lordaeron.

1 month later

The Elven race, both the Night Elves and the remnants of the High Elves, had already fled to Ashenvale where the Scourge had left. The Humans and Dwarves were forced to follow after a long bloody battle with the Undead. With the Undead Legion in control of Lordaeron, Khaz Modan and Azeroth it seemed like nothing could stop them.

2 week later

With the Humans and Dwarves arrived in South of Kalimdor, in the mountainous regions of the continent, the Orcish remnants under Thrall in the Barrens and the Elven race in Ashenvale it would only be a matter of time before the Scourge would reach out and claim the lands of Kalimdor.

Jaina, who by now received word of the happenings around the war against the Scourge, set out to unite the races and create a new alliance between all races to defeat death itself. She knew it would be difficult and even somewhat idealistic, but she also knew it would be the only chance there was for survival…
