Morning all. My first SCP Problem

I recently had to fdisk my computor as it was vitually grinding to a halt. Before that I had got freespace_open to work without any hassle. All was well. After I had wiped my computor I redownloaded everything, the media vp, the latest builds and RT's launcher. I stuck everything in my Freespace root directory and ran the launcher

Launcher will now close.

I always get this message. Fred_open works fine but I can't open Freespace_open. Please help.

Actually, some more information would be helpful before he gets here.  What are your system specs?  Are all your drivers up-to-date?

Sure...

Windows ME
AMD Athalon XP1500+
256.0mb RAM
Nvidea Geoforce 2
32 gb (or so) hard drive

The funny thing is that it was working perfectly before. There seems to be no reason why it would stop working unless something critical was not re installed on my computor.
