"V" slated for production in Feburary 2004
Wow was I ever shocked to find out hints of this were posted as far back as last june 2003! I was surfing the web cause I saw the video of V final battle in BlockBuster last night and though "hmm maybe a mini-mod of 3 or 4 ships would be a fun small project".. I never expected to find info that NBC wants to make a 20 year continuation! Maybe the BSG mini-series sparked interest that a remake or continuation would make $ for NBC like BSG has undoubtabley have gfor vivendi adn sci-fi network? anyway here's one of the few V sites, you can loo up V information if you havenever seen the tv mini-series or the short run 84-85 tv series based onteh mini-series.. Later!

That the one with the aliens trying to steal all our water?

If you remember it that way sure!
LOL no! When they came to Earth it was under teh guise of needing water so we gave them LOTS of it, in return for future science aid crap... Won't ruin the plot for noobs, but lets just say *cough bullsh*t, bullsh*t cough* :p

Yes. Fun movie. It was like Mars Attacks meets Three's Company, only trying to be serious.

They're airing one of the episodes every Sunday on Space...

Remember Freddy Kruger?

He was "Willie" the harmless guy who helped us make the red dust!

He said in an interview a few months ago that he's excited about the prospect of V continuing...

I'm not so sure about Marc Signer though (The original Beastmaster)..

Oh man... V... I used to watch that religiously. Then when it came on tv again, I laughed my head off at how... well... It wasnt so bad, but it wasnt as good as I remember it. Though the whole thing where they ate whole rats alive was really cool when I was kid and I always asked for rat shaped candies to eat. :D Though I think a movie that had a promising prospect for a series, and in fact was one for a VERY short while was Alien Nation. I thought that was quite good. :D
I have returned... Again...

Yeah but both shows had silly, silly aliens.

In V they were able to bred with humans. C'mon that's just plain silly.

And in Alien Nation they were killed by salt water. Which meant if you'd been out for a run your hands were covered in something that would burn them like acid (Yet I never saw anyone torturing an alien that way). That aside the basic premise was a quite nice one.
