Ghost Recon vs. Double Dash
OK dudes, i want to get one of these games.

Ghost Recon or MK Double Dash.
My optimal choice would be GR, but i cant find the game anywere. Im also a MK junkie but im really itching for some "mature" single player entertainment...

Penny Arcade says to really enjoy MK you need as many GCs, TVs and GBAs you can get your hands on. Not to mention friends to operate them. They did get the full four kart, eight player race thing going but said whilst it was the best multiplayer race they'd ever had they'd probably never bother to pull it all together again.

It seems to me that as MK gets to be less about the actual racing (see SNES vs N64), you're going to need to be getting a pile of mates around to get your two penn'orth. Not necessarily a bad thing, but in deciding which game to get ask yourself this - do you have MK-playing friends you can call on?

For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. Hehehe - I guess I was. :p Although I really didn't know it was Mario Kart, I also didn't really think it was Mortal Kombat. :p

Yeah, it's just like kart racing games except the karts have weird symbols on them, you get harpoons, knives, swords, and fireball attacks, and when you come in first the other racers die in exceptionally gory and brutal ways.;):p

Play Doom, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, or Half-Life for mature single-player entertainment. Play Rise of the Triad if you like your violence way over the top. Play Duke Nukem 3D if you want some rather coarse humor with your violence. Play Redneck Rampage if you want some humor that makes Beavis and Butt-Head look sophisticated.

If you can play a lot of multiplayer, get mkdd. if not, I wouldn't make it top priority.

haven't found or played ghost recon for the gc, so I can't really say anything about it, except for you to check gamerankings.com or something similar.
