The Larch. Or rather, a building.

I saw something that interested me and I started screwing the Lightwave again, trying to get it back to the way it is supposed to be. Here's the results.

A cookie to whomever recognizes the origin of the building.

Flying Circus, Episode 16, The architects sketch. architects sketch. Architects sketch !!

Correct me if I'm wrong. This was the first thing that came to mind.

I'm kinda disappointed that Venom didn't recognize the building. Its been background shots of something I know he's seen.

*heh* The reference pic I'm using, Venom, lists it as the AD-Police headquarters in Mega-Tokyo in BubbleGum Crisis.

No, its not finished. I have all the microwave relay dishes, antennaes, and sattelite comm dishes up on the top. I still have to add butresses on the lower walls. the doors need to be intruded properly. Air conditioning blocks and water tanks, etc need to be added. I need to detail the helicopter pads and the main garage. There's lots left to do.

Never seen it. But my guess would have been the building that got it's top floors blown out in the original C&C intro movie. :D

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Ah. Well, I've only seen the 3 older  AD Police OAV ( not more recent stuff like bubblegum crisis 2040 ), and well, was a while ago, couldn't remember :p ( still can't, to be honest ).

This should be from the original BGC series, not the newer one.

It's definitely the ADP building but it's not from the original (2032-33) BGC series or at least that's not how I remember it looking from that series. Without going through all the trouble (my DVD of is R1 and I'm in R4 and it takes a whole lot of fiddling to watch it on either my R4 PS2 or R4 PC DVD Software) required to check my guess would be it's from Bubblegum Crash, a 3 episode mini-series which was made as an attempt to finish off BGC after it was left in the air when one of the companies bankrolling it went bust.
