Hamano, a bug with your Hercules Mark III...
There's no eye-point on the mesh, so if I try to look left/right/back, I just get a forward view without the HUD.  Similar to the effect while looking through the point of view of a capital ship, like the GTD Orion.

Heh, most people won't notice the problem if it's there on the Phase 2, since most people won't be flying it. :D

modelview doesn't save eyepoints, so you'll have to make them in pcs.

Ok, when we use pcs is there anything we neek to know besides just plopping one on? Can we leave it where it originates or do you haev to enter other coordinates and stuff (any other info needed, or steps?)
Don't think of it as being outnumbered. Think of it as having a wide target selection !

Yeah, as Setekh pointed out, there's no need for eye-points on capships, don't worry :)

Star Dragon: well, placing them where the pilot's head is would be a good idea ;)

does an eye point haved to be normalised ?
I'm fairly sure it does.

I also notice the eyepoint error no the Macross/Robotech models by Max Sterling. Always wondered what it was.

At least one eyepoint with normal 0,0,1.  In my experience you also need eyepoints for each of the other directions (back, left, right, up).

I'm pretty sure you only need an eypoint pointing forward.

Also, I've added an eyepoint to the herc 3. I've attached the modified version.

Spicious, your zip's corrupted.  Or at least, it is for me.  Winrar's throwing an 'unexpected end of archive' error whenever I open it.

I will add eyepoints for forward, left, right, back and up. (not yet corrected.)
Down direction is not there, I think looking down means seeing cockpit floor.

Are left, right, back and up eyepoints recognized automatically by their normals?

Herc3 eyepoint problem fixed.
