Trying to play RA online

I see it, in the menu in GaySpy Arcade "C&C Red Alert". All very well, but when I try to run the sodding thing, the game starts as it would normally, and I'm expected to sign up for Westwood online.
Now, they may not have noticed this, but Westwood Online doesn't exist anymore.

Anyone have any suggestions other than direct IP connecting? (Which I'm not sure how to do with RA anyway)
