Web server Software?
Hey, I have access to a PC with a T1 connection at work.  Its got some extra space (around 3-4 gigs) that I could use up that no one would notice.

Anyone know of any software that would let me use these 3-4 gigs for accessable web storage?  :confused:

apache, or IIS. I guess apache is easier to install without having the windows cd, tho.

Apache hands down. You might also want to install PHP/mysql while you're at it so you can make custom file managment scripts. :D
I have big plans, now if only I could see them through.

Apache is your best bet, in general. However, if you're a very knowledgable NT/2k administrator, IIS is the absolute best choice for a single site on a Win2k/NT box.

Or, to make it more clear:
Code: [Select]

if (you == VERY_KNOWLEDGABLE_NT_2K_ADMIN &&
    you == HAVE_SINGLE_SITE &&
    you == HAVE_NT_2K_Box)
{
    use_IIS();
}
else
{
    use_APACHE();
}

Don't ask. My brain is in odd places.
