Wi-Fi=Good.  No more damn link cables.

2 Screens=Bad.  It'll eat more batteries.

Touch Screen=Bad.  Without regular cleaning and care, can quickly become a greasy, useless battery hog.

Actually the DS means dual screen (oddly enough) I might be interested in one of these, I play my GBA all the time.

Has anyone seen the pics for Metal Gear Acid, for the PSP? They're on Gamespot, and it looks absolutely amazing, past PS1 quality graphics and approaching PS2 quality.

Two screens can be damned nifty, since it can let you remove visual clutter from the "play" screen (there's a pic showing Mario Kart with the track and leaderboard info on one screen, and the race on the other).

Just think of it as one screen, split in half.

I like to think of it as a larger screen that happens to be foldable to make it smaller.

In any case, this thing is supposed to pack more power than the N64 so the PSP isn't without any competition (even though the DS is technically not aimed at the same market niche as the PSP).


There's one thing I both like and not like about the DS.  The dpad.  It looks like they've changed it, which is a good thing.

Unfortunately, it still looks really small and now it seems to be more embedded into the contraption.  I hope that thing isn't going to be not responsive enough.

However, I'm glad that it finally has at least as many buttons as the SNES.
