Ok here is the first demo vercion of my campaing... I dint not have time to finish it now :P But I promised that some day this will be finished and will be a great one :D

Anyways... the Demo is just "1" mission... but I releasing the demo because I need help which it... Someone can tell me why the "red Alert" is not working?

Ok for play this Demo you need FS port v 3.0.3... and also uses the lightspeed nebulas.
Edit your mod.ini...

Hmm... except for a bunch of grammar errors (is English your first language?) the only problem I've seen thus far is that mission 1 refuses to end. The freighter docks... then I just sit there. I'll take a closer look in FRED.

Someone can tell me why the "red Alert" is not working? and I need a help to make the objectives and debriefing working

I don't really have time to through the missions but if you tell me how they don't work at the moment I can probably tell you how to fix them for you.

BTW : Your campaign file probably requires work. At the moment there is no requirement to complete any of your missions successfully as you can proceed to the next mission simply by jumping out at the first opportunity. Now not having played the mission I can't tell if that was deliberate or not but if it is an error you need to work on adding repeat mission links in the campaign editor. Your mission progrossion should look like this

Branch to next mission
-is-previous-event\goal-true
--This mission.fs2
--We win!
Branch to this mission
-true

In other words if We win came true you go to the next mission. Otherwise you have to replay.

As near as I can tell, for some reason the Hussler is not proceeding to its next set of waypoints after docking with the player, therefore it just sits there and the mission never ends. (Event name: "waypoints") It might be a conflicting AI goal, or, now I think about it, maybe it can't dock with the player. Never tried it myself so I couldn't tell you. It obviously tries, but I don't remember ever receiving an alert that it docked with my fighter.


Also, where you disable the player's engines: it might be a little more efficient to use ai-goal: play-dead, and then player-use-ai. That way the little alert that the player's engines are disabled doesn't pop up, but it accomplishes the same effect.

The name is coooool....

Why you use Lightspeed's nebula pack? It makes the campaign more inaccessible to newcomers,who have to search and then DL the pack :doubt:

Because I like those Nebulas :D and there is a lot of campaings/mod using it too, soo... , anyways, there will be several months until finish this... its just matter of my free time :P

Well, I working to fix the files given inthis demo... all objectives should be working fine now, the only thing that Icant find a fix is the Red Alert thing.. is not sence... i try everything... it should be working, but not...

Ok, the idea is this... There are some ships (Gamma 1 (you), Husler, Ship Carrier, A789 (docked which Ship Carrier), A427(docked which Husler), A412 (docked which Ship Carrier)...) Those ships are in M1 Read Alert-> M1b Red Alert -> M1c... using the Red alert the game should save the hull %, weapons and remove the destroyed ones right? well is not working... I have not idea if the problem is the docked things that preventing the Red Alert from working or what... (the player will be docked in the ending of M1 too)... none of both red alerts are working not even the M1b->M1c one.... (mmm here... I thing a need to change something in M1b... because all objects will be already jump out before the player thoggle the red alert... if this happend I think that Red alert will not take the ships datas of already departed ships intro the next mission right?.

BTW, Hunter I never have that problem of you are talking... I test the first mission a lot of times and the Husler always dock you, then do a final waypoint and jump... and also the play dead will be great, but IA orders does not work on players :S, belibe me I think a lot about that part... and disabling the ship is the best solution. (by how).

(What is happening which the file attach? its always say Folder full :S)

oh, is good, BUT player-use-ia disable everything except the aferburner :SSSS... and weapons but I think that is just a bug...

And about Red-alert I think that the problem could be the special hits and cargo... I using special hit on almost every ship here even the player ship... and I been changing them on M1 for bablacing the fight and I complety forgot about the special hits on the other two mission :P that could be the problem i think.

And the cargo container too... I been using the TSC 2 on M1 and TC 2 on M1b :PPPPP haha.

ok, well, its imposible I removed every special hit on ships that have to red alert on the next mission and nothing happends... also... icant find a single reason of why red alert is not working from M1b to M1c :SS
Something have to really buged here.

BTW, the download file has been updated, its just the same mission which some bugs fixed.

That should do the trick, but its apear to be a bug here... red alert is only saving the player hull and weapons... all other ships simpley does not apear in mission... BUT the person for dialoges sill working AND i can see their name and hull in the escort window, but their are not there :S the problem apear to happen only when the player ends the mission in red alert when docked which something.

Ok, them reemplace the ones in data/missions for this ones and try to replay the campaing and see what happens after finish M1 :P xD that is soo strange.
