Sobek Ancestor/Descendant
Just a model up for grabs. Completely remodelled the Sobek from scratch and changed some stuff. Keep in mind, I can't texture, so you'll need your own texturer if you want it.

If you want it to look slightly more FS1 era, widen the engine block, remove the rear dorsal fin, or whatever you might call it, and replace it with something like smaller versions of the 2 thin fins on the ventral of the Typhon, or something like the bridge thing on the Typhon's dorsal.  Then, add some stubb arms that start from the back of the "head" section, and curve forward ending short of the tip of the nose on either side of it.  They'd blend in to the head on its sides, taking aspects from the Aten, though on their forward tips, you'd either have something like the white light panels found on those angular arms on the Typhon, or a forward turret.  Widen out the neck somewhat and add a small fighterbay entrance on either side and you'd have a decent light destroyer or corvette.  In fact, I might be interested in something like that, but I've don't have the skills. ;7

I think this is very similar to original sobek.
Change basic components and re-arrange, and add or delete some components.
I also drawed a sobek variant:

I think if you move from the 'petal' shapes of the rear to a fin, you loose a bit of that Vasudan feel.

Hamano, would you object to me trying a hand at that concept pic?  There are a few scale/color things I may change, but I love the idea.
who needs a signature? ;)
It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here

StratComm,
I don't object that someone will make a mod from this pic.

This concept pic is just an idea.
I don't have any plan for making a mod from this pic.
If you think this another sobek concept is interesting,
please try to make a mod from this pic.
