She's playing Dazzler, for like half a scene or something with her singing.  Despite everything else, the girl has got pipes that make angel's weep for joy.

...someone remind me again, who is Dazzler? I would consider myself to have a better than average knowledge of X-Men (neeeerd ) but her name doesn't ring a bell. Could be Boomer or whatever, from Gen X, the one who nearly got mauled by Sabertooth...

Dazzler's a singer that has light-related powers (can fire lasers and stuff). She had a relatively large role around the time the X-Men were sent to that planet that got attacked by Celestials, I think, and she had some involvement with Guido (Strong Guy). My memory's a bit fuzzy on the details, but she was fairly big on the comics for a while...

Hmm, I think  remember her vaguely from the Age of Apocolypse story arc. Whenever it was that she was prominent in XMen, it must have been before/after my time.

Oh and, Jessica Simpson is a celebrity showpiece, used to boost ticket sales. Like Liv Tyler in LOTR. I just hope they give her a small part...
