Sound Crackling Issue
Okay, time for another strange anomaly.  While playing the FSOPEN 3.6 first release with Launcher 5.2, I've been experiencing odd anomalies with audio.  About 5 minutes into gameplay, some certain sounds start to sound crackly and staticy.  Though the original sounds play OK, it's like they're surrounded in staitic.

I'm using a Soundblaster Audigy with thier latest drivers direct from creative.  I'm also running a fresh install of Windows XP.  I have tried ticking the "preload all game sounds" option and I get the crackly problems with it on or off.
Has anyone came across anything like this, or have suggestions?

It happens on my computer too. I've just added it on Mantis.

That has been happening to me for a while now. When it appears to occur the most is when there are 2 types of sounds playing at the same time (like flak cannons and me firing at someone).

EDIT: Btw, that was on my laptop (using some external speakers). I have a desktop at home running Win2k with a SB Live and it still happens (although I use the same speakers).
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside
