How do get my Orion class destroyer to have a nameplate like the Bastion?

The Bastion and Galatea are both special models using a different texture for the name plate. The process is explained in the modding section. The SCP have introduced a much simpler way of doing this though which is controlled from FRED.

Texture replacement. In the ships editor if memory serves. Make sure it's set to duplicate model or you'll have all kinds of trouble.

Thats easy, you'll need the Babylon 5 Type Font there it looks like the original. Take the texture without the name on it, duplicate it and then use Adobe PS to write the name with the font on the plate, make it a little bit translucent and it should be fine

Not did I ask it because I didn't know. The font you have to use is called Stop, by the way.

Well, when I was using the B5 Font the result was looking very similar to the original!
