Hey, for fun I'm trying to add the Scorpion to a table file for my campaign (because the Basilisk blows) and the shield doesn't seem to work. I put the appropriate file in the hud directory, taken from FS1's vps, then the FS Port VP and the Inferno enemies VP but for some reason it doesn't seem to work.

Is there some place the shield-f12.ani is referenced to besides the ships.tbl? It's odd because I threw in another fighter that anon did and it seems to work fine (the shield).  Or maybe there's a limit? For every addition to the ships.tbl I've been taking something out, but maybe there can be only some many with shields? I dunno.

hud.ini is what you're looking for, I think.

It's not much of an excuse for a website, but my stuff can be found here
