Greetings everyone.

Downloaded Freespace 2 about a month or two ago and after several failed attempts of convincing local friends to play the game (I know... I need new friends), I've come looking for other players online (as I have failed to play in any multiplayer save a LAN game I managed with one other person).

As such, I'm about to go diving into the forums to see if I can find any ip addresses or server addresses out there for me to join up with for a few games or campaigns. Will also be checking out the main website and see what's available to download.

Any points in the right direction here would help, mean while....
begin diving sequence, lowering into the forums I go....

Umm, my last visit was recorded on the 7th of October, it's now the 2nd of November, sounds like a month to me.(okay, it's 5 days short, but still)

Phew, welcome :)

Check out the SCP if you haven't already. Not only does it offer you the ability to multiplay - it'll be like playing a completely new game :D

PXO permanently went down, that is the reason you cannot play online.

I already announced my retirement twice, yet here I am. If I bring up that topic again, don't believe a word.
