I am experiencing some odd behavious with a new ship I am trying to get working in game.
Ship seems to be OK as far as the conversion process goes. PCS converts it fine with no errors, and the vessel appears in game as it should. AI flies it like a demon, and all seems good.
Until I started shooting it up some.
I seem to get some lock-ups when the thing is destroyed. Taking out the damage chunks cured that....but why should it Lock?
When I swapped the damage parts around and made them a subobject of the hull, they displayed OK and didn't cause problems. Just as damage parts when they swapped in at the 'blowing up' point.
I also seem to have some issues where the game locked up after the ship had been flying around damaged for a bit. The targetting reticle showed the thing at around 40% when she locked up.
I am running 3.6 FSopen. Normal game is fine and dandy, so it's a ship problem not a game problem.
Also, in the ship table I have set the 'burners' to have a 0 recovery. I want them to be a finite resource. I upped the value to 0.9 ( Boy...does she acce;erate now

) Could that be linked? If the AI hits burners and there is no fuel...
Anyway... I can't figure out what I have done wrong here, and would be glad of a few pointers as to what might cause some of the things I am experiencing!
