Why is it that, no matter the medium, if you're getting something and it comes in two parts, the second part always arrives first?

*finally has Dune Messiah*

Some ****hole at Royal Mail stole the first half of my delivery, so Amazon sent out replacements in 2 packages. One containing Dune and Human Traffic, the other containing Dune Messiah.

So I'm 2-for-2 on the syndrome.
