One of the designs I made for a destroyer for a game.. its ment to be an older ship, in service for about 100 years, and spends a lot of time chasing pirates and what not through debrees, junk fields, astroids belts and the other places where the skum seems to lurk.

The damage on the front of the "wings" looks a bit too symetrical.

That's a nice one. and the textures are zillion times better then the horribly horrible third class tiles form Volition.
Give a man fire and he'll be warm for a day, but set fire to him and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

From the name I would assume Freelancer was the game.  Very nice BTW.

Those areas on the wings are actually bumpped up a bit, you have to get closer to see it, the damage would simulate the damage you see around edges and such.

Those areas, and the rounds areas all come out, in fact all those "bumped up" areas or darker areas are modules that are pulled out and replaced for variouse mission setups

Thanks for the comments, this is just the baby, I didnt want to texture the bigger ships until a design was set upon.. the big ones are rather complex lol

post some pics even if they are untextured.

Well this is the bump map.

Here is a quick render I mdae of the others, busy building the vipermk2 from the new galactica show right now actually lol

Here are some others

2000 poly model, textures not done, slightly better then the libety in terms of a ship

A supercarrier test design with placeholder textures

A heavy fighter, all these just have test textures to help see the ship

Light Fighter

Standard Fighter

Newer cruiser, the engines on the back will move up down and left and right, also they will fire both ways to improve agility in all directions

Those ships RULE!!!

...and they seem to remind me of some Galspan ships from Tachyon...

I still say they are very freelancerish.  It may have something to do with the fact that I've recently obtained it and have become right obsessed with it.

I love the fighters. I've been drawing concepts like those for a couple years, never was able to model though. I can't draw very well either, but those are what I had in mind...
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Those fighters look like they have a bit of a Centauri design. The Heavy looks like it could be a cross between a Sentri and a Vorchan.
