Well I've had the chance to play HL2 now, and I would agree that the shadows arn't as 'dramatic' as you so eliquently put

, it does shine on the physics side of things though, and a generally more realistic environment. But yeah, guess it doesn't matter to much one way or another.
What can I do?
* Well I'm generally handy with Photoshop, so that would include the creation / editing of textures, images, and posters etc.
* I've had some experience in using Radient making some maps for my own entertainement in JK2 and Academy. So I guess I could have a shot at making scary pathways and dark lighting to scare the pants off everyone.

* I'm not to bad at making models for inanimate objects and vehicles \ ships, characters on the other hand don't come as easily for me, but I've only ever attempted once or twice, so maybe I just need practice.

* I'm also a Java programmer, but I fail to see where that would be usefull besides intermediate apps etc. I'm planning on completing a course in C++ programming which covers 3d programming etc.
* I'm also prone to bursts of enthusiasm, which come and go depending on my workload, soberness, general mood, and what time of night it is...

Think that sums things up... As I said before however, time sometimes gets in the way of things so I would'nt be able to generate large amounts of work during busy study weeks etc, but I usually manage to always fit in a bit of time...
But yeah... Think that's what you needed yeah?
