Jap fanboys may know this as a Corolla Levin, but in Blighty it's a GT Coupe. The car I've been after for years (and very well may purchase soon...)

and with a Mesh Smooth applied:

and some reference images:

My first model, other than dodgy low poly space ships, so go easy Bros.
If you're wondering why the model doesn't match the blueprints, I could only find Sprinter Truneo prints (Corolla's sister car). I think these are Fan Boy Drawings, rather than actual prints, 'cos they don't quite match up.

You want a Corolla?  Interesting...

Not a Trueno Sprinter? Or Celica Supra?

Castrol Tom's Supra touring car thingy.:thepimp: Saw it on Gran Turismo 3, and it's stunning.

Although, the 1994 Corolla rally car is awesome - if it's anything like that, then it'd be cool. :)

Err, I was referring to the car that spawned the Supra, the Cellica Supra, it was made in the early 80's (late 70's?) as a performance version of the Cellica, before it became it's own car later on...

Corollas were used for Rallying and the Sprinter was never avaliable over here. And I've never seen an Episode of Initial D either :p

I like Celica Supras (probably my favourite Supra). Later models were big and over weight. The Corolla GT is a personal favourite though (and I can actually afford the insurance) Just hard finding a decent one 'cos they're getting on a bit now.

It looks sort of like Animation Master.

What program is that?

Edit: What a geek I am, completely disregard the car to ask what program it was modelled in. :p

Ahh.

It's a nice car, too. I wouldn't mind owning one myself.

Although it kind of looks like the car from Inspector Gadget (The original cartoon one) :D

Well, if you can get one in as good a condition as the one in the pic, more power to you, it looks sweet. Personally, I'm a Mitsubishi man. And I'm pissed as hell that:

1) Mitsubishi is having financial difficulty because of a defect scandal in Japan

2) The FTO was never sold in America

3) The 3000GT/GTO was never sold in TT-MR form in America

  • What is this? I don't even...
My mom used to own a '78 Celica GT. Man could that thing move when it wanted to, and it was a ****ing tank. All metal. Only plastic in the thing was the dashboard.

Strange that, as they're quite common over here. I seem to recall Mitsubishi were caught up in some defect cover up scam a couple of years ago. I don't think they're ever really recovered.

This one was about 5 miles from my house (found it on ebay). Probably would have had it but I've yet to sell my Punto. Buying and Selling cars is a pain in the ass.

Nice tank top. ;)

Good match, though. I didn't know what the Blista was based on...

Blista Compact = Honda CRX.

Anyhow, you don't want a Corolla son, you want a Series 1 RX-7.

Now there's a car!

:ick:  The second and third generation RX-7s are the nice ones, not those ugly 'things' you're on about.
